I have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, even though my parents
discouraged me from pursuing it as a career. Later in life, I embraced the path of an autodidact,
teaching myself to paint and immersing in various creative forms.
My journey began with oil
painting but my curiosity led me to experiment widely with other mediums such as Japanese
clay, paper tole, knitting and embroidery. In recent years, watercolor has become my true
passion while I still enjoy exploring alcohol ink, acrylic ink, acrylic and Ebru art. My artistic
journey has shifted from realism to abstraction where I find greater joy, freedom, and room for
personal expression. Through abstract painting I explore emotion, inner landscapes and unseen
dimensions of life.
My works have been recognized internationally: “What’s Undeneath” received
the SAA People’s Choice Award and was exhibited in Nottingham, UK (2022); “Ampera” was
selected for the 4th IWS Indonesia Competition (2022); “Weather The Storm II “ won a Mention
of Honor Award at the 2nd Olympiart organized by IWS India (2024). Most recently, my abstract
painting “Love Intertwined” was showcased at Art Moment Jakarta 2025. For me, painting is
both discovery and liberation - a lifelong dialogue with color, form and spirit.
